Case Study:

UX and Front-End Development

Redesigning the user experience for a non-profit service that's been around for 25+ years has helped save consumers hundreds — often thousands of dollars — while bypassing all the hassles and high-pressure sales tactics of traditional car shopping. Preview in a New Window

Project Details has been around for a while, as a service of Consumers' Checkbook - a completely unbiased, nonprofit, and independent group providing insight, ratings, and advice for consumers. They recently decided it was time to modernize their user experience and help distinguish the CarBargains brand as it's own standalone entity.

We started with a basic, static, PDF concept of what their homepage could look like. After a quick meeting and some basic structure layout - we set to work to design the project in HTML5/CSS3.

After a round of revisions, the final product was delivered to their development team for installation as clean, well-commented, and organized application code. The website was tested across the board to be SEO-friendly and compatible with a large range of browsers, operating systems, and devices - working flawlessly and fast.

The team at CarBargains hopes to see increased traffic and inquiries as a result of the redesign - and overall like the new look of their service.

"I just wanted to thank you for getting this done so quickly and well. I can't tell you how often I've worked with developers and agencies and gotten projects late, so to have this delivered on time was incredible. We all love the way it looks. Thank you!”
