Driving over $2.6M+ in online ticket sales for Orlando's best rated live improv comedy club
SAK Comedy Lab is a 250 seat improv comedy theater in downtown Orlando, with nightly improv comedy shows most days of the week. We overhauled their website to boost ticket sales and they've seen exponential growth since.

Project Details
SAK Comedy Lab hosts improv comedy shows most nights a week, and initially came to me looking for a way to sell tickets and make reservations through their website. Working together we got the basics setup, and now years later they’re handling nearly all of their business operations online. Their website now manages shows, tickets, reservations, promotions, class registration, blog posts, financial reconciliation, employee user accounts, staff scheduling, and more – all from a secure and intuitive backend dashboard.
We’ve implemented thousands of improvements via a GIT repo with CI/CD integration, maintaining a platform that sees over 99.99% availability each month. SAK.com has served over 3M+ pageviews - driving $2.6M+ in online revenue. With a focus on constantly improving conversion and user experience, we’ve helped SAK customers place over 80,000 ticket orders and over 130,000 reservations (that's a 17% avg. conversion rate). We also implemented SEO best practices to place SAK Comedy Lab on the map with Google, as over 60% of SAK’s traffic comes from organic (unpaid) search results and they consistently rank #1 on the search results page for their keywords.
When COVID struck in early 2020, I helped them temporarily shut down and move to more online activities, and when they looked to re-open we setup new promotions, capacity configurations, and other changes to ensure their customers felt safe and secure for the years to come.

"Marchant Web helped us develop and maintain a dynamic website that has completely changed the way we do business. Simon is an innovative problem solvers and a pleasure to work with.”
